MEET THE TEAM
Goodbar Restaurant Group was built on a simple belief: the best restaurants belong to their neighborhoods. Over two decades, Jackie Greenbaum, Gordon Banks, and Chef Adam Harvey have opened some of Washington D.C.'s most beloved local spots — Little Coco's, El Chucho, Bar Charley, Quarry House Tavern, and Charley Chesapeake — each one a reflection of the community it calls home.
The three of them have been building together since the early days of Jackie's Restaurant in Silver Spring, where the partnership was first forged. What started as one restaurant became a group, and what became a group never lost the feeling of one restaurant. Every concept is different. The through-line is always the same: honest food, genuine hospitality, and a room that feels personal — because it is. Jackie's artwork hangs on the walls. Gordon lives down the street. Adam named his restaurant after his wife's family.
No corporate playbook. Just places they'd actually want to eat at themselves. That's been true since day one, and it still is.
